Sampo expands its operations in Latvia to include also life insurance. Sampo's subsidiary Sampo Enterprise Insurance Company Limited buys the share capital of the Latvian life insurance company AAS Hansa Apdrosinasana from the Estonian company Hansapanga Kindlustuse AS with an agreement signed on September 28. The Sampo Group has until now been represented in Latvia by its subsidiary AAS Sampo Latvija which operates in the field of non-life insurance.
