Rebuilding after a natural disaster can mean big business.
That was the message the U.S. and Turkish governments gave at an informational meeting for area businesses at the Department of Commerce yesterday.
"American firms can and will make a significant contribution to reconstruction," U.S. Undersecretary for International Trade David L. Aaron told representatives from some 60 American and Turkish businesses.
"Once reconstruction is completed, we see great potential for even further expansion of U.S. investment in Turkey as Turkish economic reforms take hold."
