Consultancy bids in for Jebel Ali K

Evaluation of consultancy bids has begun at Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) for the Jebel Ali K power station, following the return of quotes on 10 December. DEWA is aiming to implement the project on a fast-track basis, with a consultant due to be appointed in the first half of January (MEED 4:12:98).

The low bidder for the contract is understood to be the US' Kuljian Engineering Corporation at AED 9.7 million ($2.6 million).
