Fashion-forward guys, get ready to lasso in the newest necktie on the market -- the exotic skin tie.

Paula Helwick, president of The Perfect Fit, a custom-tailored clothing firm in Houston, is debuting a line of custom ties made of alligator, ostrich, lizard, eel or python, all of which are also used to make cowboy boots. The neckwear comes in a variety of colors, but the most popular are dark chocolate, black and cognac.

For the time being, Helwick is selling the ties directly to her customers, and has no immediate plans to sell them in retail outlets or over the Internet. The ties are cut-to-order and each tie requires four hours of labor.
