Here's an Internet search strategy for battling information overload and sifting out the best sites. If there is a person in the field you are researching who you admire, and that person either writes on the topic or is sometimes quoted, perform a keyword search on that person's name, either alone or in conjunction with a subject keyword. This can serve as a custom quality filter for you.
