Like the intercom on a submerging submarine, the infrastructure of Bonaire seems to shout just one thing: "Dive, dive, dive!"
There are the painted yellow rocks that point the way to more than 50 shore dive sites ringing this island in the Dutch Caribbean. There are the floating buoys to which dive boats must moor at more than 30 offshore sites. (Dropping an anchor is prohibited; it would likely damage Bonaire's cherished coral reefs.)
