NEVER before in the annals of human history has so much harm been done to so many, with so little remorse. Such has been the toll of the past 50 years of Communist rule in China, being "celebrated" in Beijing on October 1st, that even its harshest critics must wish the People's Republic a future better by far than its bloody and turbulent past.
