HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 4, 1999--
GX Technology Corporation and TGS-NOPEC (OSLO:TGS) recently announced a joint venture to create a state-of-the-art library of depth imaged seismic data over a highly prospective area in the Eastern Gulf of Mexico. Under the agreement, GX Technology will perform prestack depth migration on 2D seismic data from TGS' Phase 49 program, which consists of approximately 7,500 miles of data in the DeSoto Canyon and Lloyd areas of the Eastern Gulf of Mexico.
