SKANEATELES FALLS, N.Y. and CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct.5, 1999--Welch Allyn Data Collection, Inc. and Hand Held Products, Inc. together announced that Welch Allyn Data Collection acquired Hand Held Products in September, 1999, to leverage their digital imaging technology and gain an advantage in Imaging-Based Handheld, Mobile, and Fixed-Position Auto ID Systems.
