I recently saw an ad from a local computer shop for a bare-bones system (non-Intel processor, no monitor, and so forth) asking less than $250. According to published reports in Business week magazine, chip makers have found that these low-end computers have opened up the world of the PC to millions who might otherwise be priced out of the market.
What will this new wave (last waved of computer users experience? Many things, but certainly a world of complexity and aggravation. Donald Norman's latest book certainly doesn't offer them much hope. "The ...
