Does a higher income mean a lower quality of life?
Last week, a 40-year-old Calgary entrepreneur passed a panhandler on a Vancouver street. Moments later, he telephoned his wife in their $3 50,000 residence. "I wanted so badly to sit down with him [the panhandler] and never have to make the decision about getting up again," the hard-driving businessman admitted.
