NASHVILLE - The Red Sox have not figured out how to pay for a new stadium, but they are ready to start showing it off.
"The new ballpark will have all the charm and intimacy of Fenway Park, plus all the amenities of a Camden Yards, Jacobs Field and Coors Field," said Red Sox general manager Dan Duquette last night at the winter meetings. "We have a spectacular plan in place, we just don't have the financing in place."
Duquette did not say who had designed the new ballpark, but he made it sound as if a look at the blueprints would please traditionalists who still cling to their beloved Fenway Park, built in 1912 and tied with Tiger Stadium for oldest ...
