As we flip the calendar to November, retailers officially declare the beginning of the holiday shopping season. What does that mean for consumers? Finding new and better ways to stretch the same paycheck.
You can shrink weekly food expense by using your leftovers. This week, serve a warmed chickpea salad accompanied by boiled potatoes. Make five extra potatoes to go into the next night's main-dish potato casserole. Next, try citrus penne with flaked fish; later, transform it into a minestrone soup.
