Edward L. Casey Jr. of Bridgewater and Bourne, a plumber, died Friday at Brockton Hospital after a short illness. He was 61.
Born in Rockland, he was raised in Brockton and graduated from Brockton High School and the Old Colonial Trade School in Brockton, where he received his plumbing license.
Mr. Casey was employed by Winberg Heating and Plumbing in Brockton and the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton, where he was worked in the Engineering Department until he retired in 1990.
Mr. Casey was a member of The First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brockton.
