Just when he was getting used to being the Red Sox closer, Tom Gordon has a new job to master.

Gordon is just one of several Red Sox wiseguy pitchers who have been giving Corsi a hard time the last couple of days.
They refused to believe Corsi when he said that he and Mark McGwire, his former Oakland teammate, were friends and that they had spoken recently. Gordon was such a doubter, he told Corsi he would carry his luggage the rest of the season if Corsi offered proof of their so-called friendship.
