During an American epoch when pink Cadillacs grew fins and Vegas neon bathed a nation in mindless post-war possibility, there was the Rat Pack, a group of lost boys swinging on their stars.
They adopted Las Vegas as their clubhouse and devil-may-care as their attitude. Frank Sinatra was the head pack rat. Singer Dean Martin went along for the ride. Sammy Davis Jr. was the group's conscience, although he sold his soul for the privilege.
