This year's Boston Film Festival will again offer a preview of the fall and winter's independent and foreign-language movies. But unlike the past three years, when the festival was split between Sony Copley Place Cinema and Landmark Kendall Square Cinema, this year's fest will be a Copley-only affair.
The announcement came yesterday at the festival's annual luncheon to unveil its roster of movies.
The festival, which will show 46 features and 27 shorts Sept. 10-20, has used Copley Place as its primary venue for 14 years. However, the loss of the viewer-friendly screens of Kendall Square and a return to the uncomfortable, tinier theaters of Copley Place ...
