After co-starring with each other for three decades and reunited for the tenth time with "The Odd Couple II," Friday's sequel to one of their most enduring hits, Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau don't do interviews together.
But the septuagenarian duo does seem to be comedically linked even when apart.
Ask Lemmon, 72, about when he first met Matthau, and he'll tell you about the time he was at Sardi's, the celebrated Broadway celebrity hangout of the 1950s, and was introduced to the man who would become his most persistent on-screen foil.
