The Pilot House extension project brings shame to Boston and blight to a neighborhood.
It is a hideous model against which all other Waterfront development should be measured - a model for political skulduggery and collusion as well as for a city's callous disregard for residents, taxpayers.
This development is an in-your-face insult to anyone who cares about Boston.
Along the Waterfront and deep into the North End, there's outrage, even before the Pilot House extension - a modern wing attached to a Boston Harbor landmark - officially opens for business this summer.
