It was a full house at the Old Stone Barn in Peterborough, N.H., for The Cobbs' July 3 sale. Top lot was a Tiffany lamp with its shade decorated in vines and fruit; it sold for $15,400. The lamp came from a Dublin, N.H., estate.
A New Hampshire Chippendale maple six-drawer chest on a bracket base brought $6,010; a circa-1800 French commode with a shaped front and inlay brought $5,060; and a tiger-maple rolling pin went for $66.
Rockingham ware was of interest, with a pair of somewhat damaged 15-inch recumbent lions going for $1,540 and a Rockingham spittoon fetching $22.
