God answered yesterday after hearing the prayers of USS Constitution Capt. Michael C. Beck and three Catholic priests on the eve of the proud old warship's 200th birthday sail Monday.
"We asked for 10 to 15 knots of wind from the west, and that's what we've got coming; it's ideal," Beck said, happily displaying a long range naval weather report.
The report also predicted decreasing clouds and early showers tapering off for the historic 10-mile one-hour noon sail off Marblehead by the country's oldest commissioned battleship.
