"12 Angry Men" premieres Sunday at 8 p.m. on Showtime.

It was while watching the O.J. Simpson trial that director William Friedkin decided to remake "12 Angry Men." The classic legal drama was first seen on television's "Kraft Playhouse" in the early 1950s and then was adapted to the big screen in an all-star version directed by Sidney Lumet and released in 1957.
