Three former agents for Paul Revere Insurance Corp. have filed a class action suit against the insurer in Worcester Superior Court, claiming breach of contract.
The agents - based in Georgia, Ohio and Arizona - were all "career agents." This is the way Paul Revere describes those who sold its products in branch offices nationwide.
Once trained, the agents agreed to work only for Paul Revere. In exchange for their exclusive services, Paul Revere agreed to pay salaries and office expenses, including rent.
