Zella lost and found

Five years ago, it would have been a stretch to call Jeff Zella an athlete. In fact, Jeff Zella struggled for an identity himself.

And no wonder.

As an eighth-grader in late 1992, the Weymouth youngster was forced to cope with a numbing event. Jeff's father, Stephen, died after a long bout with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and left behind a family of three, including Jeff's mother Linda and older brother Steve.

Jeff Zella was 13.
