Elizabeth C. "Betty" Simpson of Lynn, a retired medical secretary, died Thursday at Union Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Penn Yan, N.Y., she lived in Lynn for more than 50 years. She graduated from Rochester School of Commerce in New York.
Mrs. Simpson was a medical secretary in the admitting office of the former Lynn Hospital for more than 29 years. She later worked at Puritan Medical Center. She retired in 1995.
