Crocker Wight of Brookline, an investment executive, died Wednesday at his home. He was 83.
Mr. Wight was born in Cohasset and attended Middlesex School. He graduated from Harvard College in 1938 and received a master's degree in business from Boston University.
He served in World War II as a lieutenant in the Navy from 1942 to 1945. As an aviator, his tours of duty brought him to Okinawa, Ulithi and Guam. He continued his lifelong love of flying as a director of the Aero Club of New England.
Mr. Wight was an investment executive at the Boston securities firm of Tucker Anthony for almost 50 years.
