The New Broadway Theater Company and the Headless Theater have merged to found a new artistic center in Somerville called the Peabody House Theater Collective.
The collective hopes to provide an artistic haven for resident artists, whatever their media. Its first offering is the rarely seen and little-known Tennessee Williams piece "The Two Character Play," about a brother and sister on tour who find themselves trapped "in a state theater in a state unknown," through Oct. 1 at the Peabody House.
