It doesn't take a football genius to figure out what happened yesterday at Alumni Stadium.
But it just might take a coaching genius to pull the battered Boston College team out of its current predicament in order to salvage something from this season.
"I'm not discouraged at all," first-year BC coach Tom O'Brien said after Georgia Tech shook off a 76-yard touchdown run by Quinton Lee on the game's second play to roar to 35 straight points and a 42-14 blowout win over the Eagles.
"I'm just disappointed we made the mistakes we did," O'Brien said. "We never gave ourselves a chance. (But) I'm not discouraged. What the heck."
