Salem's two-day blues fest experienced both growth and growing pains this weekend.
Saturday's focus was uptown swing-blues, with those glorious veterans, Roomful of Blues, acing their jubilant, highly arranged take on jump. Lounge music may be the retro trend of the year, but Roomful was always smartly entrenched in the past, and they continue to invest their swank blues-jump with chops and joy.
