The saying is true when it comes to Downtown Crossing.
Unlike many shopping areas and malls, Downtown Crossing isn't a cookie-cutter shopping center lacking personality and history.
Downtown Crossing is the proud home of many of Boston's oldest businesses, including BankBoston Corp. (1784) and The London Harness Co.(1776).
