Seeing the Need

According to the latest studies, teen pregnancy rates are down approximately 4% from 1990. Researchers are attributing this trend to fewer sexually active teens and contraception that is more effective. The statistic in 1997 for teens between the ages of 15 and 19 was approximately 100 pregnancies per 1000 women. The decline is encouraging, and at the same time raises some questions.
