My choice for relief while in labor was hypnotherapy. Looking back on my decision, I can honestly say it was the fight one for me and for my daughter. I want to share my experience with other women and inform them of the wonderful things hypnosis can do.
My mother was actually the one who "discovered" hypnotherapy during Christmas of 1996. My mom was a smoker for thirty years and I was pregnant with my first child. She wanted to quit smoking before the baby came. On March 1, 1997, she did quit, with the help of hypnotherapist Audrey Steelman, Ph.D.
