The local PEMEX EXPLORATION & PRODUCTION, a subsidiary of the state-owned PETROLEOS MEXICANOS (PEMEX), recently awarded a facilities automation contract to a Mexican joint venture. The partners in the planned undertaking include HONEYWELL MEXICO, a subsidiary of U.S.-based HONEYWELL INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION & CONTROL and GRUPO INDUSTRIAL DEL ATLANTICO (GIASA).
