Annually, Sarasota County takes one week out of the year to appreciate the contributions that our local industries make to our area economy and to showcase products and services produced locally. Each year the Sarasota County Committee for Economic Development presents the Sarasota County Business Leadership Award to an area manufacturing, distribution, service or corporate headquarters that has helped to advance the economy and improve the quality of life in Sarasota County.
