Today Americans need to wonder not only about the recent report of massive waste and fraud in the federal government's accounts, but also how it happened that free Americans became government serfs.
The federal government thinks so little of the sacrifice we make in handing over one-third or more of our annual incomes that it doesn't even bother to account for what it does with the money.
If the federal government were a private business, it would be overwhelmed with criminal indictments and civil lawsuits for its fraudulent accounting practices.
But the deeper meaning of the massive waste and fraud in the federal budget is the obvious ...
