Vice President Al Gore's lead over former Sen. Bill Bradley of New Jersey has shrunk to 17 percentage points in the Democratic presidential race in New Hampshire, a poll finds.
A poll of likely voters, conducted by independent pollster John Zogby for the Reuters news service, shows that Mr. Bradley's Democratic support is rising while Mr. Gore's continues to fall. The vice president leads Mr. Bradley by 52 percent to 35 percent.
Earlier this year, Mr. Bradley was polling in the teens in New Hampshire as well as in national polls. But after three campaign trips through the state since Jan. 1, his numbers have climbed steadily, while Mr. Gore's ...
