After 29 years at the helm of the Russian New Year's Eve Ball, Princess Alexis (Selene) Obolensky is looking for someone else to take over.
But whom?
"I'm hoping someone will offer," she said with a chuckle Saturday night at this year's event, held, as always, at the Mayflower Hotel. I took over nearly 30 years ago from people I thought were old ladies, but now I see they were my age."
