The Monica Lewinsky sex scandal has been dominating the nation's airwaves, and that's the way the public wants it, radio talk show hosts said at a forum on "The Media and Civility" at the Heritage Foundation.
"I find the audience is constantly steering me back to Monica Lewinsky, . . . back to sex," said Jim Bohannon, a talk show host with Westwood One in Arlington, one of the nation's largest network distributors and a panelist at the Tuesday forum.
"Sex is all everybody is talking about" on radio talk shows, said another panelist, Doug Stephan of Radio America.
"Nobody cared about sending troops to Bosnia, unless he had a son or daughter ...
