BOSTON - Too much choice isn't a problem for students at the Boston University Academy.
"The only choice ninth- and 10th-graders have is whether to take Latin or Greek," said Peter Schweich, a vice president of Boston University and founding headmaster of the private preparatory school established four years ago on the university campus.
Three-quarters of the students typically choose Latin over Greek.
Courses such as "Teen Living" and "Relationships" - popular electives in many of America's comprehensive public high schools - aren't even options at the Boston University Academy. There's no sex education or HIV/AIDS course, either.
