Charles A. Camalier Jr., 80, a director of Riggs Bank for more than 30 years and president of the Camalier & Buckley chain of stores, died May 24 of leukemia at his home in Potomac.
He was born in Washington and educated at St. Albans School and Western High School. Mr. Camalier earned his bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and studied at Georgetown's law school.
In World War II, he served as a lieutenant in the Navy.
Mr. Camalier was president of Camalier & Buckley, a chain of specialty stores founded by his father in 1930.
