The estimable film repertory channels of cable television, American Movie Classics and Turner Classic Movies, seldom book silent pictures within hailing distance of prime time. The typical showcase tends to be Sunday at midnight. AMC has now taken the wee-hours booking to a fresh plateau: While reviving 10 of Buster Keaton's pictures this week, the network will offer them as an early-bird, crack-of-dawn novelty.
