Ontario titillated by topless bathers: Provincial court's rule legalizing bare breasts stir brief media frenzy.(World)

TORONTO - When topless women appeared on Ontario's beaches and city streets for the first time this spring, mobs of male gawkers, tourists and reporters swarmed what were seen as sexual oddities in a province renowned for conservative modesty.

Yet, within days, bare breasts have become blase.

"This is sexploitation!" yelled one properly covered young woman as media crews covered the breaking topless story at a Lake Ontario beach near Toronto.

The woman, who asked not to be identified, said she had no problem with the ogling bathers. "I'd like to go topless myself, but not with the media around," she explained.
