The genre-cassette summer season officially arrives this week with the latest batch of "Drive-in Double Features" from the indefatigable archivists at Sinister Cinema (541/773-6860). Each tape contains two genre flicks (most of which were paired during their initial drive-in runs), along with authentic snack bar commercials, intermission spots, promos and and coming-attractions trailers, to offer a couch-side re-creation of the total drive-in experience.
In the terror-tape arena, Sinister offers the 1960 Brit witchcraft cult fave Horror Hotel teamed with the German import The Head, Herk Harvey's immortal Carnival of Souls and Lon Chaney Jr. in The Devil's ...
