The National Motorists Association (NMA) deserves more attention - and thanks. This rapidly growing membership organization dedicated to protecting the interests of American drivers supplied much of the statistical/factual ammunition used to gun down the stupid national 55-mph speed limit law.
NMA has also worked tirelessly to debunk the simple-minded mantra that "speed kills," and to unmask the Naderite/National Highway Traffic Safety Administration/insurance axis for the money-power-influence grubbing entity it is.
And now NMA has artfully coiffed, in the finest descriptive language, the true nature of the Environmental Protection Agency's mission:
