Something awful has hit the Washington area. Very awful. Deadly, and contagious, too.
I keep reading about it in the newspapers, I keep hearing it on the television and radio.
My friends from across the country have called to see if I, too, had been stricken, paralyzed, incapacitated. Were the symptoms beginning to show on me, too?
It's "cabin fever," one of the deadliest strains of fever, so I have been led to believe. Saw it on "ER" once.
