ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - Safety Darryl Morrison lost his starting job last year, and running back Reggie Brooks rushed only twice after gaining 1,063 yards in 1993. But although they seemed in danger of not making the team,the two fourth-year Washington Redskins have revitalized their careers recently.
Morrison broke up passes in scrimmages against Pittsburgh and Miami while Brooks was the team's leading rusher in both.
In last night's 17-7 preseason victory over Buffalo, Brooks gained just 11 yards on 12 carries in relief of Terry Allen but was hurt by shoddy blocking. Morrison, who played extensively after starter Stanley Richard bruised a shoulder, ...
