Playing like the tournament favorite he is, Michael Chang disposed of Kenneth Carlsen 6-3, 6-4 last night at the Legg Mason Tennis Classic to advance to today's final against Wayne Ferreira of South Africa at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center.
Chang mostly dominated Carlsen, using his strong serve to improve to 37-10 this year. Chang also controlled the tempo of the match, something he says he must do today against Ferreria.
"Wayne's got all the shots," Chang said, noting Ferreira's strong serve, solid returns and ability on the baseline. "He's a very well-rounded tennis player. I have to come and play real aggressive, consistent tennis. ...
