Joe Juneau of the Washington Capitals says it was almost embarrassing to go home last summer after putting up the kind of paltry numbers not usually associated with $2 million forwards.
"The results I wanted last year were not there, and that's very important for me," Juneau said. "We think if the results go up where they should be, this team should be in a lot better shape."
No argument there, but first things first. Juneau was on the ice yesterday, skating and shooting the puck with gusto and looking like a player with a new lease on life and plenty of jump.
