Paul Konerko is the Matlock of minor league baseball this summer, a man who presents a case for September call-up so compelling that only a blind major league jury would rule against him.
Not only has Konerko, who plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers' Class AAA affiliate, the Albuquerque Dukes, accumulated more RBI (113) than anyone else in professional baseball this season, he has displayed impressive versatility both in the field and at the plate.
