Article: The Chinese emperor who drove King George III crazy.(Commentary)(Editorials)(Letters)

The article reviewing the current exhibit of the splendors of imperial China is well written ("A splendid show of treasured art from imperial China," Jan. 19). However, there is an error about Emperor Ch'ien-lung's length of reign. Actually, he reigned from 1736 to 1795. In one reference, you cut short his reign by almost 30 years. I'm afraid that he'll turn in his grave over this slight and injustice.
